So what is Derac?
Our brand is called Derac, and it’s inspired by the traditional Somali dress called the “dera” or “dirac.” Growing up, we’ve always seen women in our families wear these long, loose dresses—especially at home. They’re super comfortable, modest, and beautiful in the most effortless way.
